Week 5 is done and here is a  few things we’ve learned so far this season: NDW is mad because I make fun of them a lot in my write ups so they are taking it out on every team they play. It doesn’t rain when Kathleen is in Maine on Thursday. Shaker’s team is horribly underachieving (but will probably win 2 playoff games). Decent teams with easy schedules are putting up video game numbers. Last week we had another walk off win, and our first walk off lights out win. There is a video of it on the Kickball Facebook page. Week 5 Scores & Notes No one submitted any recaps so it looks like my uninformed overly biased critique will do this week. Gronki-Punch (3-1-1) 13 , We Play With Moobs (2-3) 4 I guess calling out my team worked. Gronks piled up more runs in this game than their previous 4. We were back in action last week after Hurricane Scott showed up and got kickball canceled. Had I realized he was going to be the interim-interim commissioner for one week, I definitely wouldn’t have predicted a rainout-less season, so I’m not counting it against me. NDW was back in action after their disappointing Vegas showing for a double header. I blacked out last week and ended up waking up in someone elses shirt. Other than that, nothing too exciting happened last week. Let’s change that this week. Week 4 Scores & Notes WAKA Shame (1-3) 18 , Balls Deep (0-3) 0 No mercy given here as WS picks up a much needed win. No Dead Weight (3-1) 5, Brazzers (2-1-1) 2 Kind of odd seeing NDW as the team having fun and the other team as the ones bitching and moaning. Vegas hasn’t slowed them down one bit. Three weeks down, four (or 5) to go. This week we our beloved No Dead Weight is off to Vegas for the Founder's Cup tournament. So it should be nice and quiet on the fields. Scotty will be standing in as acting commissioner so I'm sure kickball will be cancelled. This week I'll be introducing my KBCS Standings (Kickball BCS) instead of your "Not Quite WAKA Approved" standings. You can always see that crap on the website even though it's wrong and NDW shouldn't have taken that forfeit.
