Playoff Preview (Part 1)

Playoffs? Did someone say playoffs? Seriously? It's time for the playoffs? Richard Don't Know just wants to win a game! That's right it's time for the playoffs folks. Due to awful scheduling, we don't know 100% for sure who will be playing who just yet. BUT, it is very easy to speculate because I doubt Richard Don't Know is beating T'keela Mockingbirds and I'm pretty sure if Muff N Men had any chance to beat NDW, they would throw the game because they don't want any part of It Ain't Gonna Kick Itself again (JSparks is head reffing this game and Jim Joyce is on first so don't be shocked if there's an upset). Given all that, these are your (most likely) playoff seeds on the left, and what they should WOULD HAVE BEEN on the right had Hoff Constantly took their ass kicking like adults. #1. Hand Made Love                            #1. No Dead Weight #2. No Dead Weight                              #2. Hand Made Love #3. Hoff Cons

Lighthouse G-SPOT Playoff Preview

Last post of the season kids – the playoffs are here minus a few make-up games. It’s time to pull up your skirts and grab your kickballs, because this time we’re playing for keeps. Here is one last power ranking, and then the rest can be settled on the field. We want to thank Kristen and Scorliss for allowing us to do this, and also wanted to thank the six or seven of you that actually read this. In all honesty though – hopefully we didn't offend anyone – this was meant in good fun, and 99% of this was created through alcohol, bad jokes and a severe lack of creativity. If there are still some of you who are truly offended, then buy us a beer and we’ll call it even. Without further ado, a playoff preview for all your viewing pleasure. [[[PLAYOFF POWER RANKINGS]]] #1 Eastbound and Down – Minus the Week 8 forfeit that this team had to put down on paper due to a lack of numbers, this team has cruised through the regular season, and posted an impressive league-leading five

Week 8 Rankings

Here we are at the final week of the season. There are a few make up games next week, so I'm just going to lump it all into one this week and sand bag for my big Playoff Preview next week. The 8 vs. 9 "Play in" game has already been decided, congrats to Pitch Please and Richard Don't Know for that honor. They'll get a practice game against each other this week. Hoff Constantly has a chance to be the worst #1 seed ever if they can beat Hand Made Love this week in the battle to play PP. Muff N Men finally gave up a run (or 8). An open challenge has been put out there to NDW to show up with 3 guys and 6 girls. Unlike HC, I feel as though our team can at least score a run. Here are your week 8 rankings. #9. Richard Don't Know (0-5, Last Gm: L 0-5 to HML)(Last Wk: 9, NC) RDK has locked up the #9 seed and will have a first round date against PP next weekend. I heard there were a few people that signed up and didn't even play a game on this team and that

Week 7 Rankings

Week 7 is upon us and the (blank) on the Beach theme week is only a week late. Week 6 brought us a few upsets and a potential log jam in the rankings with It Ain't Gonna Kick Itself upsetting Pitch Please and T'keela Mockingbirds upsetting Bez From the East. There were no forfeits this week and no teams got embarrassed by 6 chicks. Our (beloved?) Chris "Little Scotty" Hopper has recently been promoted to CSR, thus providing another man short enough to service us without getting on his knees. The bachelor/ette of the week will be taking a back seat this week and Chuck Woolery will be doing some match making in this weeks Love Connection. Here are the rankings. #9. Richard Don't Know  (0-4, Last Gm: L 1-5 to HC) (Last Wk: 9, NC) RDK doubled their run total last week against the Hoffs. Mac became the first player this season to be tossed from a game after arguing balls and strikes with "Weaker Chris" Corliss. At the post game press conference,

GSPOT Week7

Sorry for the late submission kids. It is difficult to type when you are seeing double and throwing empty beer cans at the TV during the Bruins game. We did not have a chance to proof-read this, so please don’t judge us if there are numerous mistakes, however, we hope you enjoy. Here’s hoping all of Sidney Crosby’s tears help provide much needed water to the children in Africa. [[POWER RANKINGS]] Eastbound and Down #1: EBD basically got a bye in Week 6 with IAAKJP forfeiting their 100 th straight game. Can’t justify moving this team from the top spot. After all, a W is a W. Roll Another Bunt #2: After a disappointing Week 6 loss, many questions arise when debating the strength of RAB. You cannot argue with the fact that this team is the only one in the Lighthouse league this season to give EBD some trouble, giving us reason enough to hold then at #2 for another week. Smoosh Moosh Panthers #3: In a surprising turn of events, SMP turned in arguably their best performance
