Week 2 Predictions

Well that certainly was an eventful first week of the Spring season.  The rain held off for much of the day, and allowed us to get all the games in.

The bar scene at $3 Deweys was a great success, several teams rallied their troops and made it out to what turned out to be an eventful evening full of Icings (the DTGW rookies all got Iced), VE shots, someone even won some cash!

week 1 predictions record 6-3

Week 2: Light House:

OBSK v VS - both teams started off slow outta the gate, but look for VS to bounce back with a stellar performance (OBSK 2 VS 4)

EBAD v TWSS - EBAD in week 1 looked like their was no dust to wipe off from their 3 season hiatus and started out hot, this week they take on another veteran team in TWSS who put up a solid week 1 outing. (EBAD 6 TWSS 3)

RAB v SP - Both teams started in the right direction, both getting convincing wins in week 1, look for both teams to produce runs in week 2.  (RAB 3 SP 4)

KIAB v PBC -  KIAB started the season out slow, plating no one in their season opener, and its not getting any easier in their week 2 battle with PBC.  PBC started off a bit slow in week 1, but have the talent to produce a plethora of runs.  (KIAB 2 PBC 4)

SuperHero:

SD vs PRR - after PRR stellar defensive performance in week 1, sky's the limit for this veteran team.  the only question at hand is, can they keep this up? and this week the answer is yes, going against a SD team that struggled to get runs week 1, look for PRR to take advantage of their strong D. (SD 1 PRR 5)

*GOTW*
CHITE v DTGW - this weeks game of the week, takes two undefeated teams after one week of play.  A few of the CHITE players played for DTGW (then known as the Regulators) last season, and now find themselves on the other sideline.  This will no doubt be a great kickball game, as both teams have what it takes to get the coveted W. (CHITE 3 DTGW 5)

NDW v BST - NDW looked like their were on a mission after week 1, scoring a whopping 20 runs in their week 1 game,  where as BST had trouble getting base runners.  Maybe this week NDW will be distracted by the men of BST wearing their jean cutoff shorts, my guess is not.  (NDW 9 BST 1)

WAS v ROE - Week 1 was unkind to Jason Sparks and his ROE team as they allowed 20 runs, will they be able to bounce back going taking on a Shakers Brother team that showed they can score runs and play great D? (WAS 9 ROE 2)

BATB v EPO - both teams are coming off losses, in which there was very little scoring done by both sides, which team will come out on top in week 2, my guess is the first team to score 4 runs.  (BATB 2 EPO 4).
