Week 6 (Again)

       We had our first rain out of the season last week, which doubled as the nicest kickball weather we've had all season. The best part about it was the massive 45+ person Sloshball game that featured a crazy amount of runs, my slutty Flabongo, an Asian chug off, two pussy bumps, and someone NOT on NDW complaining about every call. If you missed it, then you missed out. I wouldn't have traded that for anything (especially U2 tickets). This week is America week, which should be everyday, and we are playing by the Week 7 schedule. It's our second first crossover week! Power rankings will be back next week since they haven't changed due to the rain out. So enjoy tonight's predictions!

Tonight's Games

Balls on your Shin (-6) vs. Misfits

This could be the battle of best dressed as both of these teams have been killing it on a weekly basis in that category. Unfortunately, that's all that the Misfits have any chance at winning tonight because this game should be over in a hurry. 7-1.

Jugs & Thugs (-3) vs. We've Got the Runs

Derek is nervous for this game because Jenzi (he said a girl, so I'm assuming) is catching instead of Casey and Sothea is pitching... This is kick away bud. Jenzi's job is to pound beers and throw the ball back to the pitcher. WGtR got a rude awakening against NDW a couple weeks ago so I think they will be a little more alert this week. I just can't pick a Lighthouse team until I see them in action a bit more. 5-2, I figure Sothea is going to walk in a run.

No Dead Weight (-4) vs. AlcoBallix

This on could get ugly quick depending on how much effort NDW feels like making. Considering the various bets made, I see at least Papi giving a shit about the score. Captain Christina is sidelined again this week with a busted hymen, which essentially means the Alchy's have no chance to win (her words not mine!). Not like they have much of a chance anyway. NDW 5-1.

Hand Made Love (-8) vs. Balls Deep

Has HML already quit? This one has that upset special feel because no one knows if HML can field a full team. BD had a fair assortment of newbies and get their first taste of a good team this week. I don't see them putting up much of a fight unless there's an Asian chug off. 8-0.

Tinder Rejects (-5) vs. Lackin Ladies

I have absolutely no idea who is on Lackin so obviously they will surprise the world and pull off the upset this week. The Tindies have been pumped for Lighthouse games but that excitement could hurt them (ever tried to kick with your 3rd leg?). When you don't know one of the teams, always go with the sexy pick (Mulkern). 6-1.

Rum Riot (-4) vs. Tinderellas

RR has been nothing short of a disappointment this season. Just an unbelievable amount of relationship weight, with a huge lack of interest, and everyone living 45 minutes away so they can't drink has created this black hole of a team. But, we have kick away games this week and these guys can kick. The other Tindies are a Lighthouse mainstay and could probably do decent in Superhero if Hopper ever comes back. Plenty of athletes but whatever the fuck is in that cooler will be their downfall. 6-2.

Balls on your Shin (-2) vs. Pitches Be Krazy

PBK is another one of those "fence" teams that probably could have hopped to Superhero, but didn't. About half their team is good and the other half.... Isn't. BoyS will probably be pretty sauced up and warmed up after game one of their double header so we'll see how they adjust to a team that really wants the upset. I'm not at the point where I can pick against Superhero just yet, especially the best team in the league. 3-1.
