Week 8
Final regular season week! NDW has secured the #1 seed for Superhero already, but depending on how the rest of the week plays out, anyone could grab that second bye (J/K only Run Riot and BoyS can). Superhero went 5-0-1 last week, with BoyS settling for a tie (props to AlcoBallix) and probably locking up worst record against Lighthouse. Superhero is 11-2-1 in crossovers with just this week remaining. Lots of on field shenanigans this week. Tailgating, dizzy bat, Flabongo, a barrel of Dena punch. This would be a terrible week to miss for something stupid like softball. Short and sweet this week. Gotta save some material for the playoffs!

Nice spank job last week. So much easier to win when captain stone hands isn't there dropping everything.
#4. Tinder Rejects
After lasts weeks beat down, Shaker was seen trying to negotiate being able to play in the Lighthouse playoffs next week and forfeiting the Superhero game.
#3. Balls on Your Shin
Another terrible showing against Lighthouse. These games are supposed to be foul shots for good teams.
#2. Rum Riot
Taking full advantage of the cream puff teams quite possibly could earn them a first round bye.
#1. No Dead Weight
Not really sure it's possible to describe how much distance there is between number one and two. It's a lot.
Tonight's Games
Balls on Your Shin (-1) vs. Swamp Donkeys
The Balls have been just terrible in cross over games thus far. Swamp Donkeys haven't been much better. As it gets hotter, you sweat more and the denim gets heavier. That's the excuse they're going with. BoyS finally figured out how to win this week, barely. 4-3.
Tinder Rejects (-3) vs. We Only Come from Behind
The Tindies have been rolling through their cross over schedule so far with wins over some terrible team and some <blank> team, and I fully expect that to continues this week. WOCfB got a beat down last week in their crossover debut, but will probably play better this week. Tindies win 4-1.
Jugs & Thugs (-4) vs. WEXnEffect
WEX was all fired up at the bar to play against Superhero and came up empty against that terrible HML team. Jugs put things together last week finally after a 4 game losing streak and look to keep things going. No Sothea tonight so this one should be easy. 5-1.
Hand Made Love (-6) vs. Misfits
Misfits have been a solid social point team that hadn't needed to make out with everyone, and I don't think HML has had more than one person even show up to Dewey's. If only that made a difference for the outcome of this game. 7-1.
No Dead Weight (-3) vs. Nuke Hunt
Top offenses in each league going at it tonight. NDW is pretty much as advertised every week and have really been stepping up their drinking game as of late. They could pull off an unprecedented overall bar belt/ gold ball in the same season. Nuke Hunt probably should've been Superhero and has been feasting on weaker Lighthouse teams. The NDW group page says we might be a little fired up this week. 5-2.
Rum Riot (-1) vs. AlcoBallix
This is probably the game of the week. Rum Riot has been tearing through their cross overs and has a chance to clinch the 2 seed and a bye tonight. AlcoBallix have played their crossovers very competitive and probably deserve to win at least one. Their captain is back off the DL, which should make no difference at all. 3-2 RR.
