Week 6 Superhero

Be warned, I’m writing this about 20 minutes before the Red Sox game so don’t expect much! Not even sure why I’m bothering to write this because we all know there won’t be kickball tomorrow (Thanks Scott). Congratulations to Ryan Houghton for being the first person in who knows how long to be thrown out of a game last week. Just to point out something to everyone to show how stupid T2R was acting last week. They have the most seasons played in the league. They have 2 former commissioners. Yet somehow none of them know this rule:

1.04 Any player or Referee wholly or partly in fair territory is an extension of fair territory. Any live base runner outside the kicking box is fair, even when wholly in foul territory. A player jumping from fair territory is in fair territory while in the air. A player in foul territory does not extend foul territory by jumping or reaching into fair territory.

You may want to educate yourself before you go dumping beers on refs. Speaking of complaining, I heard a Park Ranger came down and told people to put their beers away. If only you cheap bastards had a sweet can koozie, this wouldn’t be a problem. Anyway, short and sweet BCS rankings this week as there wasn’t much change.

#8. Fall-Tea Balls - .677

FTB played a decent game against Muff No Bez. In a couple week we’ll have the game to decide the 8th seed when FTB plays MDC so you know the Balls will be bringing extra Twisted Teas that week.

#7. Ma Dixon Cider - .702

Sometimes when I make my guesses about each game, I hate being right. One bad inning cost MDC again. They have had a chance to win 4 out of 6 games this season and have come away with just a single tie. I blame the captain.

#6. The Closers - .704

Definitely had their season backwards. Thought for sure they’d start slow and get better as the season progressed, but they started hot and have since cooled off quite a bit. Got the winless MDC this week if we play.

#5. Prestige Worldwide - .796

PW has won the Jekyl and Hyde award this season. Not sure which one will show up to play. The team that dominates on both sides of the ball, or the team that makes mistakes and blows up. Probably why they get no love in the coaches poll.

#4. Time 2 Quit Bitchin’ - .819

Well folks, NDW is back! No, I don’t mean the NDW that dominates from top to bottom and plays shutdown defense. I mean the NDW that complains when something doesn’t go their way and can’t get over things. Sorry guys, you were wrong on so many levels last week, but a win’s a win.

#3. Rum Riot - .892

Kind of a predictable week for RR and HML. Probably should’ve been a tie, but HML pulled it out as expected. RR essentially is doing what they do best, good defense and not so good offense. Usually it’s enough to beat weaker teams, but not the top guns.

#2. Hand Made Love - .916

Hate to recycle what I just said but, HML has a similar team to RR. Strong defense with a good top of the line up, then a bunch of outs. Only difference is they are a bit better on offense and defense. Should be an eventful game against T2QB this week.

#1. Muff N’ Men - .958

The Muffs are making Bez look good this season, which is terrible for everyone but Bez. They either lose or almost lose when he doesn’t show up. His ego doesn’t need this kind of stroking, guys.

Shouldn’t matter which PW shows up this week as FTB is only here to party. PW wins 5-1.

Ma Dixon Cider vs. The Closers

I keep waiting for MDC to put it together and win a game. This is the perfect chance against a struggling TC. Eventually we got to win and you know what, it’s this week! 5-4 MDC.

Rum Riot vs. Prestige Worldwide

RR has played consistent defense all season against all competition so I don’t expect that to change. I feel that the warm up game will work to PW’s advantage and a mini upset is brewing 2-1 PW.

Time 2 Retire vs. Hand Made Love

Game of the Week. This is usually your final 2 each season. I do very much enjoy ruining T2R’s pregame chants and it’s not like my record this season is any good, so they will win 93,752,835-3.

The Closers vs. Muff N Men

TC has been cold as of late and Bez may have cramps after playing kickball all summer nonstop. The Muffs should win, but it’ll be closer than you’d expect. 3-1.

Was easy to bang this out quick with the Red Sox playing like dogshit.
